Kebon Jeruk UPPRD Educates 250 Participants About Tax Relief

Kebon Jeruk Tax and Levy Service Unit (UPPRD) of West Jakarta educates 250 participants from local urban village head, RT/RW administrators, and Urban Village Consultative Board (LMK) about tax relief and abolition of administrative sanctions.

This policy is implemented in accordance with Governor Regulation (Pergub) No. 89/2019

According to Kebon Jeruk UPPRD Head, Widyastuti, 2020 is year of law enforcement and orderly payment of local taxes. In order to encourage delinquent taxpayers to pay their taxes, she continued, government implements tax relief as many as 50 percent for vehicle-ownership transfer fee (BBNKB).

"This policy is implemented in accordance with Governor Regulation (Pergub) No. 89/2019," she mentioned, Wednesday (9/25).

She stated that based on Pergub No.90/2019 about Granting Administrative Sanction Abolition and Reduction on Local Taxes, taxpayers are granted a relief in paying their tax arrears related to vehicle tax (PKB) and abolition of administrative sanction for hotel tax, entertainment tax, parking tax, restaurant tax, groundwater tax (PAT), and billboard tax.

"Policy regarding local taxes relief and abolition of administrative sanction will be enforced until December 30, 2019," she explained.

Through this policy, he hopes taxpayers can use this chance well.

"We encourage taxpayers to use this chance and paid off their tax arrears," she asserted.
